THE ROAD TO THE 2026 bp ADELAIDE GRAND FINAL

bp Adelaide Grand Final
20 Jan 2026
The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship will feature more races and events – 37 races across 14 events in Australia and New Zealand – concluding at the bp Adelaide Grand Final on November 26 to 29.
It will be the most races in a Supercars season in over a decade – only the 2014 season had more races with 38. Across the 37 races in 2026, there will be 7195 kilometres of racing, an increase of 500 kilometres from 2025, with 18 sprint races and 19 long-distance refuelling races.
The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship will see Toyota joining the field with its new GR Supra, up against the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro.
The 2026 calendar features 14 events, the most since 2019, with the addition of Ruapuna in Christchurch – creating a New Zealand double-header alongside Taupō in April.

The season will again be split into three parts, culminating in a Finals Series to crown the 2026 champion. The Repco Sprint Cup will consist of the first nine events of the season – starting at Sydney Motorsport Park in February and concluding at Queensland Raceway in August.
The Enduro Cup will be contested at The Bend Motorsport Park and the Repco Bathurst 1000 in September and October respectively, with the top 10 drivers in the championship standings after the Great Race qualifying for the Finals Series.
The Finals Series will be held over three events – the Gold Coast in October, Sandown in November and the bp Adelaide Grand Final, where the 2026 Supercars champion will be crowned on Sunday November 29.
