The bp Adelaide Grand Final has today announced Valvoline Global as an Official Partner of Australia’s largest domestic motorsport event and the Repco Supercars Championship Grand Final, with the globally recognised lubricant brand securing a four-year partnership that places it at the heart of the on-track and fan experience.

As part of the partnership, the popular Chicane Grandstand will be renamed the Valvoline Chicane Grandstand, featuring bold Valvoline valance branding and delivering high-impact TV broadcast exposure across the event weekend. Positioned at the Senna Chicane, one of the most thrilling and recognisable sections of the Adelaide Street Circuit, the Valvoline Chicane Grandstand provides close-up racing action and fan atmosphere.

Valvoline Global, a global leader in premium automotive lubricants operating in more than 140 countries, brings to the bp Adelaide Grand Final the rich heritage of the Valvoline brand – a legacy of performance and innovation spanning 160 years, with deep roots in motorsport. The partnership reinforces Valvoline’s long-standing connection to motorsport while creating new opportunities to engage directly with passionate Australian fans.

Importantly, fans will be rewarded through the partnership, with enhanced fan engagement initiatives, including giveaways of exclusive Valvoline merchandise, ticket offers and on-site activations throughout the event.

“The Chicane Grandstand is one of the most iconic and loved viewing locations on the Adelaide Street Circuit, and it’s fitting that a performance-driven global company like Valvoline Global will now put its name to it,” said Rebecca Lawson, Commercial Director.

“This partnership goes well beyond naming rights. Valvoline will have a powerful presence through broadcast exposure, bold branding and fan-first experiences that elevate the atmosphere at one of the most exciting points of the circuit.”

Kate Phillips, Marketing Director, ANZ at Valvoline Global Operations, said the partnership reflects Valvoline’s deep-rooted connection to motorsport and its commitment to Australian fans.

“Valvoline and racing have always gone hand in hand. As the Original Racing Oil, we believe there is no tougher test for an engine than the environment of high-performance motorsport,” said Phillips.

“Events like the bp Adelaide Grand Final reflect the extreme conditions that inspire our innovation. The demands placed on a supercar engine challenge the boundaries of performance and that mindset shapes how we develop our products to deliver outstanding protection and reliability for every driver across Australia and New Zealand.”

The bp Adelaide Grand Final continues to deliver unmatched scale and excitement. The 2025 event attracted more than 285,000 spectators across the weekend, including over 102,000 fans on Sunday alone, surpassing attendance figures for both the AFL and NRL Grand Finals.

With long-term partnerships at its core, the bp Adelaide Grand Final remains a premium destination for global brands seeking national exposure and the pinnacle of Australian motorsport for passionate fans.
