Australian hard rock heavyweights Airbourne have been announced as the special guest support act for Guns N’ Roses at the bp Adelaide Grand Final on Sunday 29 November.

The Warrnambool-formed band will join the opening night of Guns N’ Roses’ 2026 Australia and New Zealand World Tour, bringing their explosive live show to Adelaide before the tour continues across Australia and New Zealand.

Formed by brothers Joel and Ryan O’Keeffe, Airbourne have built a reputation as one of Australia’s most electrifying rock bands, known for their high-energy performances and relentless touring schedule. Since bursting onto the scene with their debut album Runnin’ Wild in 2007, the band has carved out a global following with their straight-ahead rock ’n’ roll sound.

Across four studio albums including No Guts. No Glory., Black Dog Barking, and Breakin’ Outta Hell, Airbourne have achieved chart success around the world and shared stages with legendary acts such as Iron Maiden, Motörhead and The Rolling Stones.

Renowned for their powerful live performances, Airbourne have played more than 1,100 shows worldwide, including major international festivals such as Wacken, Download, Hellfest, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, and were awarded Best Live Band at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards.

Their addition to the lineup promises to make the bp Adelaide Grand Final Sunday night concert an unforgettable night of rock.
