The bp Adelaide Grand Final has been named the prestigious Supercars Best Event of the Year for 2025, the fourth consecutive time the fan-favourite event has won the award.
Awarded at Supercars annual Gala Awards at the Adelaide Convention Centre last night, the bp Adelaide Grand Final beat other nominees including the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 and the Repco Bathurst 1000.
Chair of the South Australian Motor Sport Board, Andrew Daniels, said: “To have the bp Adelaide Grand Final as the ultimate round of the Repco Supercars Series, here in Adelaide, locked down for the next nine years, that happened because of the amazing growth of the sport that we love.
The competition is getting stronger and stronger for this award, and Adelaide is determined to keep its position right up the very top.”
A record crowd of 102,200 attended the Sunday of the event, more than either of the AFL or NRL Grand Finals.
The 2026 bp Adelaide Grand Final takes place 26 – 29 November after 285,700 people attended the event in 2025.
