If Friday lights the fuse, Saturday at the bp Adelaide Grand Final (28 November) truly ignites.

This is the day the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship reaches its pointy end, with the season’s four title contenders strapping in for the second of three races at the event – a 250km, 78-lap gauntlet around Adelaide’s iconic street circuit that goes a long way to deciding who lifts the trophy on Sunday.

It’s the middle leg of a 600km, three-race finals shootout spread across the weekend, and arguably the most decisive of the lot. There will be two parts of qualifying before the Top 10 Shootout, where the grid for that championship-defining blast is locked in and the tension trackside is impossible to miss. The race gets underway at 3:20pm local time, with all eyes on the four grand finalists in the battle for crucial points.

The on-track action doesn’t let up all day. GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS opens proceedings with a flat-out one-hour race from 9:10am, before the Tyrepower V8 SuperUtes get amongst it from 10:20am. Supercars qualifying fires up from 11:45am, setting the stage for that afternoon shootout, while the Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup and Dunlop Super2 Series both squeeze in races before the main event finally launches at 3:20pm. There’s also the new GT1 Race Club presented by GG Classic Cars, as priceless hypercars take to the track.

It’s wall-to-wall motorsport from gates-open to chequered flag, and with experiences, activations, NAPA Speedway in the City, the Australian Rally Championship Festival and so much more running throughout the day, there’s no better place to feel the speed up close.

When the flag falls, the volume simply goes up. Adelaide royalty Hilltop Hoods headline the Saturday after race concert, joined by Ball Park Music, CYRIL and Teenage Joans for a lineup built for a hometown crowd. Best of all, the concert is included with every Saturday general admission and grandstand ticket — no upgrade required.

Saturday general admission starts from $99 and covers both the day’s racing and the after-race concert, while grandstand seating puts fans trackside with a reserved view. Can’t pick just one day? Multi-day passes — including two-day and four-day options — bundle Saturday in with other days of the bp Adelaide Grand Final program.

Pair a genuine championship decider with one of the biggest homegrown concert bills of the summer, and Saturday emerges as the must-see day of the entire weekend. More than 285,000 fans came through the gates last year, so with a title on the line and Hilltop Hoods closing out the night, this is one Saturday worth locking in early.
