TRACKSIDE VIBES: CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY AT THE bp ADELAIDE GRAND FINAL

Sunday at the bp Adelaide Grand Final (29 November) delivers the moment everyone has been waiting for – the crowning of the 2026 Supercars champion.

After three days of racing, entertainment and championship drama, the Adelaide Street Circuit becomes the centre of Australian motorsport as the four remaining title contenders face their final race of the season. With everything on the line, every corner, overtake and pitstop could decide who leaves Adelaide with the championship trophy.

Last season saw a dramatic conclusion to the championship race with the tangle between Broc Feeney and Ryan Wood and Chaz Mostert claiming a long-awaited title. With a guaranteed championship battle, the 250-kilometre decider will be must-see.

As per the Saturday schedule, there will be two parts of qualifying before the Top 10 Shootout, where the grid for that championship-deciding race is set. The race gets underway at 3:20pm local time, with the 2026 champion crowned for what’s sure to be a dramatic conclusion to the Supercars season.

Champions will also be crowned in the support categories too, with the last races of the season for the Tyrepower V8 SuperUtes Series, GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS, Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup and Dunlop Super2 Series. There’s also another opportunity to see the new GT1 Race Club presented by GG Classic Cars, as the hypercars take to the track for a final time at the event.

There is also the continuation of speedway and rally action, with the NAPA Speedway in the City and the Australian Rally Championship Festival running across the day.

When the chequered flag falls and the Supercars champion is crowned, the party begins with Sunday’s post-race concert featuring legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses – a spectacular soundtrack to the final night of the bp Adelaide Grand Final.

Fans can expect a high-energy set packed with classic hits and stadium-level production as part of their Nightrain World Tour, bringing together world-class rock and motorsport for an unforgettable weekend.

Australian hard rock heavyweights Airbourne will be the special guest support act for Guns N’ Roses. With a solid rockin’ catalogue of albums, Airbourne solidified their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the rock world.
