REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2026 bp ADELAIDE GRAND FINAL SCHOOLS DAY PRESENTED BY HOMESTART

Students at Urrbrae Agricultural High School swapped the classroom for a taste of Supercars action on Wednesday, as Penrite Racing Supercars drivers Matt Payne and South Australian Kai Allen, alongside social media sensation JWBeats, surprised students with a live lunchtime DJ performance to celebrate the launch of the 2026 bp Adelaide Grand Final Schools Day, presented by HomeStart.

Building on the success of the 2025 program, HomeStart has joined the bp Adelaide Grand Final as the new Presenting Partner, helping provide primary school, secondary school and technical college students with the opportunity to experience the excitement and atmosphere of the event firsthand.

The new partnership reinforces a shared commitment to supporting South Australian students and the community with thousands of young people set to experience Australia’s largest domestic motorsport event on Thursday 26 November 2026.

Official registrations opened on Monday 3 August, with Urrbrae Agricultural High School among the first schools to register its interest.

With a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), the program offers students an engaging, behind-the-scenes experience of elite motorsport. By showcasing the people, skills and teamwork behind the event, it helps bring classroom learning to life while introducing students to a variety of future career pathways.

More than 3,300 students, teachers and caregivers participated in Schools Day in 2025, and organisers are expecting another strong response this year as the program continues to grow.

South Australian Motor Sport Board Event Director, Shaun Bennetts, said the partnership with HomeStart would help continue to grow one of the event’s most impactful community programs.

“Schools Day has become a highlight of the bp Adelaide Grand Final, giving thousands of students the opportunity to experience motorsport through an educational lens,” Bennetts said.

“By combining exciting on-track action with interactive STEM learning experiences, we’re inspiring young people to think differently about careers in engineering, technology and innovation.

“We’re excited to welcome HomeStart as presenting partner as we continue to expand the program and create memorable learning experiences for students across South Australia.”

Registrations for the 2026 bp Adelaide Grand Final Schools Day, presented by HomeStart, are now open until Sunday 25 October, with schools across South Australia invited to secure their place at the popular annual event.
