National champions and international stars confirmed for NAPA Sprintcar Invitational battle

All drivers competing on the NAPA Speedway as part of the bp Adelaide Grand Final have today been unveiled, counting down to the highly anticipated second edition of the award-winning event with its new five-day schedule.
NAPA have also increased the stakes for drivers in the NAPA Sprintcar Invitational providing an additional $25k to the prize purse, bringing the total to a massive $140k for those braving the high-torque, open wheeled Sprintcars.
2024 Australian champion Lockie McHugh leads the 40-car NAPA Sprintcar Invitational field which will kick off on Wednesday 26 November for three nights of roaring action under lights.
Five-time World Series Sprintcar champion, James McFadden, three-time Australian Champion Kerry Madsen, and Dylan Menz racing in both Sprintcars and Speedcars will be part of the star-studded field vying for victory in front of packed crowds.
International names will also be present on the grid, with current New Zealand Sprintcar champion Max Guilford and USA rising star Riley Goodno ready to take it to the home-favourites of the Sprintcar field.
In 2025, the NAPA Speedway programme includes the highly popular Speedcars on Wednesday to Friday night and will be headlined by current Australian number one Kaidon Brown.
There will also be a strong female presence across all categories showcasing the competitive and widespread representation fans can get behind across the NAPA Speedway programme at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
Lisa Walker and Tarhlea Apelt will be ones to watch amongst the most powerful and on-the-limit Sprintcar field, with Melissa Couch and Zoe Pearce competing in the nimble Speedcars category.
Saturday and Sunday of the bp Adelaide Grand Final is the turn of the speedway stars of the future to take centre stage, with the Junior Sedan and Junior Formula 500 categories entertaining crowds.
From as young as 10 years old, drivers will push to the limit on the 342-metre temporary NAPA Speedway, improving their impressive skills to be the best over the weekend.

“The NAPA Speedway has a strong sense of community for fans, and this will be seen with various family duo’s competing across the categories creating exciting rivalries and battles to watch throughout the field.”

The inaugural NAPA Speedway was awarded the Event of the Year earlier this year at the Australian Speedway Hall of Fame and Awards night.
Fans can secure the best seats to the NAPA Speedway with a three-day reserved grandstand for all the Sprintcar and Speedcar racing on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night.
