The NAPA Sprintcar Invitational, which brought open-wheel Sprintcars to the heart of Adelaide with packed crowds last year, will return with an actioned-packed three-night schedule at the bp Adelaide Grand Final from Wednesday 26 November to Friday 29 November.

The fierce competition on the 342-metre temporary NAPA Speedway will boast a 40-car field, and an increased prize pool of $110,000 up for grabs over the three nights.

Wednesday evening of the bp Adelaide Grand Final will welcome patrons into the event precinct for the first time, hosting high-speed practice and qualifying, and the opening race for Sprintcars under lights, with improved viewing experiences thanks to east-facing grandstands that go on-sale today.

Thursday and Friday will see racing commence amongst the NAPA Sprintcar Invitational field after the action on the Adelaide Street Circuit concludes, producing quick racing with their impressive power to weight ratio.

Existing ticketholders can purchase the reserved seating as an add-on to their ticket, including as a three-day option for every moment of Sprintcar racing, and purchase Wednesday general admission tickets to the NAPA Speedway via Ticketmaster.

For Thursday and Friday evening only, the NAPA Speedway VIP Platform will provide the best viewing and hospitality experience on the North-Eastern platform beside the track, with tickets available here.

The support category for the 2025 NAPA Sprintcar Invitational will see an intense battle for the agile and highly powered Speedcars, ensuring fans can enjoy a full program of on-the-limit racing at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.

This includes weekend racing, when the junior speedway stars take to the track for the first time as part of the NAPA Speedway Junior Cup Invitational, with entrants as young as 10 years old able to submit Expressions of Interest from today.

In total, 2025 will feature more speedway racing than ever before in the Adelaide CBD with action commencing at 5:45pm each evening from Wednesday to Friday, creating extra excitement and entertainment for the all-important grand final event.

Mark Warren, South Australian Motor Sport Board CEO said “The success of the NAPA Speedway was incredible to see last year, and it is exciting to increase the Sprintcar action to include Wednesday evening at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.

“With increased viewing opportunities for the NAPA Sprintcar Invitational, the atmosphere will be elevated from last year, to see who reigns supreme amongst the 40-car field come Friday evening.

“The bp Adelaide Grand Final is a one-of-a-kind motorsport experience, with access to enjoy the NAPA Speedway, the BOOST MOBILE AUSX Supercross Grand Final and all the on-track action including the title-deciding Repco Supercars Championship races with a general admission ticket.”

Mitch Wiley, Executive General Manager of Marketing NAPA said “It’s fantastic to confirm the return of the NAPA Speedway at the bp Adelaide Grand Final this year.

“The inaugural event last year was nothing short of outstanding. To see Sprintcars in the heart of Adelaide was an incredible spectacle, and the 2025 edition promises to deliver so much more.

“NAPA is proud to have played a small part in bringing it to life and we all look forward to seeing another huge event in the Adelaide Parklands as part of one of Australia’s great sporting events.”

Adam Currie, President Sprintcars SA said “We’re incredibly excited to bring the dynamic, high-octane world of Speedway and Sprintcar racing back to the bp Adelaide Grand Final this year.

“The NAPA Speedway in the City was a standout on Australia’s Speedway calendar last year, capturing the attention of motorsport fans both locally and internationally. We saw some of the best racing on the temporary track last year, proving just how thrilling and competitive this format can be.

“Building on the success and experience of last year, we’re committed to making this year’s NAPA Sprintcar Invitational and its support races, event even bigger, better, and more unforgettable for fans.”

The NAPA Speedway is the second returning off-track feature of the event alongside the BOOST MOBILE AUSX Supercross Grand Final, providing a variety of motorsport entertainment and countless battles for victory in Adelaide.

The new era of the bp Adelaide Grand Final will feature four finalists, three races and one champion, as part of the Repco Supercars Finals Series that culminates at the Adelaide Street Circuit.
