20 Oct 2025
MusicSA today announce My Chérie, Oscar The Wild and DEM MOB as the South Australian supports for Lenny Kravitz and AC/DC at the bp Adelaide Grand Final concerts this November.
Music fans are in for a massive weekend of November 29 and 30, as South Australia’s rising stars share the spotlight with global icons, as First Nations hip hop collective DEM MOB and ethereal pop sensation My Chérie support Lenny Kravitz on Saturday, November 29, and indie favourites Oscar The Wild will open for AC/DC on Sunday, November 30.
In partnership with the South Australian Motor Sport Board, these supporting performances celebrate South Australia’s thriving live music industry, shining a national spotlight on some of the biggest names in the South Australian music scene and highlighting the depth and diversity of local talent.
Saturday, November 29 — Lenny Kravitz + Jet + My Chérie + DEM MOB
Two of South Australia’s most dynamic acts will set the stage alight before rock legend Lenny Kravitz takes to the mic.
Hailing from the APY Lands, DEM MOB are Australia’s most remote hip-hop group and the first to rap in Pitjantjatjara. Their music blends culture, activism and education, challenging systems that marginalise First Nations youth and reshaping how hip hop can drive social change. Fresh from shows at WOMADelaide, Primavera Sound (Barcelona), and New York’s Lincoln Centre, DEM MOB bring unstoppable energy and truth to every performance.
Joining them is My Chérie, the award-winning singer songwriter known for her magnetic live shows and emotive, genre bending sound that moves between alt pop and folkrock. Recently named a finalist at the 2025 SA Music Awards, My Chérie’s powerful voice and storytelling will provide the perfect lead in to Kravitz’s high-octane set.
Sunday, November 30 — AC/DC + Amyl and the Sniffers + Oscar The Wild
Opening for AC/DC, Oscar The Wild have carved their reputation as one of South Australia’s most exciting young bands. Blending indie rock, punk and pop, their live shows are packed with heart and energy, earning them slots alongside Bloc Party, Grinspoon, and The Beths, and festival appearances at BIGSOUND, Harvest Rock and Vintage Vibes. Their connection-driven performances and fearless songwriting make them a fitting warm up for the thunderous finale with AC/DC.
MusicSA CEO, Christine Schloithe, said:
“Supporting emerging South Australian artists to appear on some of the biggest stages in the country is at the heart of what we do. Having DEM MOB, My Chérie and Oscar The Wild perform alongside Lenny Kravitz and AC/DC shines a spotlight on incredible homegrown talent and introduces South Australian audiences to local artists they may not have discovered before.”
