GRANDSTANDS IN FOCUS: BRABHAM STRAIGHT GRANDSTAND

The end of Brabham Straight is one of the fastest points on the Adelaide Street Circuit, with the Brabham Straight Grandstand the place to soak in the speed of the cars at the 2026 bp Adelaide Grand Final.

 

Named after Australian motorsport legend Sir Jack Brabham, Brabham Straight follows on from the high-speed Turn 8 and heads into one of the best overtaking opportunities on the circuit, the Turn 9 hairpin.

 

The Brabham Straight Grandstand offers prime views of the high-speed action and mistakes at Turn 8, as well as the overtaking action into Turn 9.

 

Brabham Straight has played host to legendary Adelaide Street Circuit moments, from Nigel Mansell’s championship-deciding tyre blowout in the 1986 Australian Grand Prix to Jamie Whincup’s last-lap overtake on Will Davison in the 2012 Adelaide 500.
